The lines of code for this animation of a Meerkat in the african Savannah, were my very first lines of JavaScript. I had just started learning JavaScript back in February 2022 when I had the idea to use an animaton on my first portfolio website, which I was building at that time. This little project, it felt huge for me back then, taught me the definition of booleans, made me take my first steps in the world of StackOverflow and helped me understand how to use if statements.

The savannah is a hot and sunny environment. The sun shines throughout the day, sets in the evening, making way for a typical clear starry moonfilled night. You can watch these changes throughout the day. Simply leave the site open in your browser and check on the Meerkat every once in a while.
